Our local groups are out in communities across the United Kingdom, campaigning for a People's Vote on the Brexit deal.
All of our events are run by friendly local volunteers, find an event near you and RSVP to get involved!
Thank you for signing up to volunteer for this event in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 7 September 9.30am-12.30pm. We are really grateful for your support and looking forward to seeing you.
Christina Birt is the lead volunteer for this event. She will meet volunteers under the tree, outside Cafe Nero and Poundland on Cornhill, at 9.30am.
Volunteers will be briefed by Christina and leaflets and campaigning materials will be provided.
There will be a choice of two campaign activities:
1) Mobile street stall and Brexitometer.
This is suitable for all volunteers and is a great way for new volunteers to start to get involved and develop.
2) Door to door surveys.
Experienced volunteered and those who have attended training are encouraged to opt for door to door work. Newer volunteers are welcome and encouraged to get involved and can be paired up with more experienced trained volunteers.
Volunteers will regroup for a short debrief at about 12pm before ending with a group photo by 12,30pm
There is no need to bring anything with you, although if you have a clipboard and a pen that would be useful; and comfortable shoes and water is recommended.
Massive thank you for getting involved. Our campaign is only successful because of volunteers like you.
Please write to our MP Jo Churchill to let her know your Brexit concerns, you support a People’s Vote, you want her to support a People’s Vote and that you will be campaigning on this day. You can email her here email@example.com
All best wishes

How was your summer?
Here at European Movement Wandsworth and Merton we’ve been keeping up our presence at street festivals, and you can find us at the St. John’s Hill Summer Fair on September 8th.
We’re now heading for crunch time on Brexit. Let’s remember that no one voted for No Deal because that was not on offer at the Referendum of 2016. A Prime Minister elected by just 0.14% of the population has no mandate to force chaos and hardship on the country, as the Government’s Office of Budget Responsibility’s studies confirm. Yet this is the direction Boris Johnson is determined to pursue.
Come and join us and for a fun day out where we can talk to local families and friends about why staying in the EU is the best option for Britain and for us in southwest London. Help us grow our membership.
Find out why we need to stop Brexit. Now.
