Coach 23 march - Bury St Edmunds - People's Vote

Coach 23 march - Bury St Edmunds

Bury St Edumunds Open Britain, one of our local groups, have organised travel to the Put It To The People : People's Vote March which is taking place in Central London on 23 March 2019.

They will pick you up from the location specified on this page and drop you in a Central London location in time for the march. Afterwards, you will be collected from Central London and dropped back at the original pick-up location.

To book tickets, please e-mail

When we arrive in Central London we will join the main march which will assemble on Park Lane, north of the Hilton Hotel, on 23 March 2019 from 12pm (midday), and set off towards Parliament Square at about 1 pm. There will be speeches in Parliament Square from about 2 pm, and the event is expected to finish 4-5pm.

We know some supporters will be travelling independently, but travelling to the march by coach will make it easier to transport bulky items such as banners, flag polls and placards and give campaigners an opportunity to meet and chat on the way down and back. (Please also be aware that the line between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street has engineering work scheduled for 23 March so please avoid this route on this day).

On the morning of 23rd March the coaches will collect passengers from: Bury St Edmunds bus station, stand 9, on St Andrews Street North, departing at 8.30am. The coach will drop us in central London before the march starts, though the exact location will depend on the traffic management on the day (it's going to be a huge march, so traffic will be affected).

After the march the coach will pick us up at 5:30 pm sharp from a location in central London tbc and is estimated to return to Bury St Edmunds by 8.30 pm.

We are very sorry this coach does not have access for wheelchairs. The coach will be equipped with an on board toilet.

Remember to bring layers of clothes, plenty of drinks and food, and to wear comfortable footwear, as we are likely to be on our feet for several hours. Please feel welcome to bring banners, hats and T-shirts, and join hundreds of thousands as we demand a People's Vote on the Brexit deal!

Tickets £15 return (adults) £5 return (children & students)

Please email Nigel George to request tickets and he will reply to your email with details, so payment can be made by bank transfer.

Join us on 23rd of March for the ‘Put It To The People March’ to make the calls for a People’s Vote too loud to ignore.

On the 23rd of March, just six days before the Government hopes to take Britain out of the EU, hundreds of thousands of people will march on Parliament offering a solution to a crisis that threatens their living standards, businesses and jobs. We demand a People’s Vote, and come 23 March, it could be a case of now or never.

Please sign up to join us. We will be congregating from 12pm, high noon in Park Lane, and marching to Parliament Square to make our voices heard. Our demand is a simple one: that any Brexit is put the people so that we can have the final say. This will be a day to tell your children about, to tell your grandchildren about.

We have teamed up with The Independent’s Final Say campaign to make sure this protest is so loud and so big that no one can ignore it.
