Bradshaw – No-one voted for delays in cancer tests

The Royal College of Radiologists today advised doctors that Brexit will likely cause delays in cancer testing and treatment, regardless of the outcome of the Brexit votes in Parliament.

Commenting, Ben Bradshaw MP, former Shadow Health Minister and supporter of NHS for a People’s Vote, said:

“Brexit is turning out to be a far cry from what was promised in 2016. No-one voted for delays in cancer tests or for patients’ treatment to be at risk.

“This goes to show that whatever final deal the Government comes back with, the choice between that deal and No Deal isn’t a real choice at all.

“Doctors and cancer patients deserve a People’s Vote on any Brexit deal.”
