Public meeting to discuss the possible impact of Brexit on West Lancashire

The Impact of Brexit on West Lancashire with Theresa Griffin, Femi Oluwole and other distinguished speakers

As we face a No-deal Brexit join Theresa Griffin North West MEP and Femi Oluwole Chief Spokesperson for Our Future Our Choice (OFOC) as well as local speakers Professor Francesco Rizzuto from Edge Hill University and County Councillor John Fillis to discuss what Brexit, including a No-deal Brexit would mean for West Lancashire.

The meeting is high topical and a much needed opportunity for people in West Lancashire to debate how Brexit would affect them and their families.

Businesses in Skelmersdale and Edge Hill University have received millions of pounds from the EU and Burscough Wharf and the Maharishi School also received EU funding. Growers in Hesketh Bank rely on vital exports to the EU and a secure workforce to run their business. We much more information than we did three years ago. We know the country will become poorer as a result of Brexit and this will most affect the low paid and our public services including the NHS.

Everyone is welcome with free entry on the door.
